Mixed Marriage: Sam and Alyssa, Mary Lou and Ihbraham, Walt and Dot...well, the list goes on.

The trope is now known as Maligned Mixed Marriage. Was the couple's interracial relationship looked down upon in-universe?

Walt and Dot's was. Possibly Sam and Alyssa's, though I can't think of a specific example.
