There has been a beginning of Edit War over the Demonization entry, so I'm bringing it here.

Demonization - the beating and brutalization of Daisy Domergue, particularly targeting her face with blood, vomit and food, as well as being punched, elbowed, pistol whipped and shot multiple times is a consistent plot thread, leading to and validating her Cruel and Unusual Death which seems like Disproportionate Revenge

IMO it's just not an example of that trope and should be cut.

I agree that it is not an example of the trope and should be cut.

Should we go ahead and eliminate this entry. It is not an example of Demonization.

Is that still there? Oh god, axe it.

And pretty much anything else that guy put there.

Seriously. He's been fully banned for his behavior.

Where is it implied that Warren was lying about raping the general's son? I see it asserted several times in the examples and I'm wondering.

If anything, the last line of his story "The worst thing that boy could have told me that day was that he was your son", or something like that, kind of confirms the story to be true.

We already know he's capable of horrifying acts and that he hates the general enough he almost killed him in front of witnesses.

I was going to answer this, but this is not what discussion is for. Moving it to headscratchers.

Would someone please explain to me how we know Chris was telling the truth? The page asserts it multiple times, but the characters never meet anyone who could confirm it.

His last act—long after all other lies have been exposed and he's bleeding to death—is to insist that he's still the sheriff, and perform an execution with as much legality as he can manage in the situation. It's not confirmed, but at this point he has no reason to lie, so it seems clear he really is the sheriff.

Note that this sort of question normally goes on the Headscratchers tab. If a work doesn't have one, you can add one.

I thought a headscratcher was something that doesn't make sense within the work. In this case, it's more an issue of how many times the page asserts as fact that he is sheriff.

And I could see him asserting his sheriff status because he wanted a Dying Moment of Awesome. Besides, if he had lied that long, and no one was likely to show up in the next five minutes who could call him, why not just stick to it?

Because he has no reason to. Dying, most people would just be themselves.

It's more difficult to sustain a lie than to tell the truth.
