I just don't get the joke with the title. Are ironclad ships supposed to be hated by navies? Maybe the title "Scrappy Ship" would be more fitting.

It's in reference to Iron Clad type ships, which, when they were invented were considered 'unsinkable' due to the inferior cannon technology of the time that couldn't penetrate the armor.

The title fits fine.
