Removing Like Fine Wine, as it is a porn fic and thus against the stated rules.

Also, it is not a very good story.

First, that last sentence is purely subjective, and not a measuring stick for fanfic recommendations anyway. It's purely inflammatory, so why say it in the first place?

Second, Like Fine Wine is inappropriate even as a recommendation, but Address Unknown can have its own trope page? That smacks of double standard, and I'm saying that as someone who really likes Address Unknown. Come to think of it, what are The Night Fluttershy Exploded and I Love to See You Smile still doing on this list if that's the standard we're going by now?

The difference, I would assume, being that Address Unknown has two sex scenes and one erotic dream in (so far) 21 chapters of a character driven romance, while Like Fine Wine is a single long chapter which was most likely only written for the purpose of the sex scene. That being said, given that Like Fine Wine has over 14,000 words worth of meaningful interaction between the two before they end up in bed, I would disagree that if violates the porn rules.

I miss the days when "We are a buttload more informal" actually meant something.

@Clato Lawa: That does raise an interesting issue, doesn't it? Where's the line? Sure, obvious porn for its own sake shouldn't make it (though that still doesn't explain I Love to See You Smile), but how little story around the sex is too little?

Trope pages are neutral, and thus have less restrictions on them than fanfic recs, which we're actually recommending. If you're unsure about a work, though, flag it for P5 evaluation.

It's also worth noting that the cleanup is ongoing, and fanfic recs pages are infamously neglected in general. If fics that violate the rules are still being recommended, it may just be that nobody's got round to taking them off yet.

What's precedent ever done for us?

I deleted the other two stories mentioned just to be safe. If we're going to be deleting mature tagged fics, we might as well make sure we get all of them.
