Concerning Manic's Screenshot Runs, one of the more important things during the second saga is that Manic, the character, is Cresselia's scion (also called the candlebearer), as well as other scions (so far those of Giratina and Victini) appearing as Manic's opponents. What I'm asking is, what trope would that fit under, if any?
Also, I want to start work on a folder for the Erfelverse, by Versil, although I doubt my ability to capably detect and list tropes.
Is there any particular reason why we have tropes for all the fan works in this one page, instead of giving the works their own page? To me that sounds about as sensible as combining all Harry Potter fan fics to one page, which we don't do because that would be silly. Most of the runs that have their own folder already have enough tropes to fill their own page anyway, and all they need is a description of the work (and in case of Ken's Fire Red Kick@$$ mode, there's also of character page of sorts) and even the ones that don't have enough content could probably be expanded without much difficulty.
So my suggestion is that we turned this page into a fan fic recs page and gave the works with enough content their own page, like we do in pretty much everywhere else.
I better burn its face so I'll look normal. Hide / Show RepliesAye, this is one very unorganic arrangement. It ought to be split between work pages.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanI gave this Nuzlocke its own page and sorted it under Web Comics.

"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanThe guy above me said that he gave a Nuzlocke its own page and sorted it under Web Comics. Since screenshot runs aren't comics, where would they be sorted?
Well, they can be comics depending upon how the run is written.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanHow 'well-known and popular' does a run have to be to go on this page? Surely, what with the fact that There Is No Such Thing As Notability, as long as they aren't just sticking in the arbitrary 3 tropes and then just plastering self-advertising everywhere, any run should be accepted?

Anyway, yes; TINSTAN is in full force here.
That was the amazing part. Things just keep going.I'd like to say something to the guy who's been continuously deleting the "Manic's Screenshot Runs" section from this page for no apparent stated reason other than the fact the person thinks the main character is a Mary Sue.

Note that in the above Q&A which includes questions to the author, he does acknowledge that Manic is pretty high on the Mary Sue scale and is planning to work on this. However, also note that other people who have commented on this thread afterwards, while also acknowledging the fact that Manic can be kinda Sue-ish, they also agree that this does not deter from the quality of the writing, and that the run has great other characters (especially Manic's teammates) and an excellent plot which makes the run great. The fact is, Mary Sue or not, this is a great series of Nuzlocke runs, and the amount of people following it and the awards that it picked up recently in the forums do nothing but confirm it.
If you think that the main character is a horrible self-insert and want him to be killed as quickly as possible, it's your freedom to think that. However, I don't think it's your freedom to delete one of the best and most popular screenshot runs ongoing just because you think he's a Mary Sue.
tl;dr - The run has faults, but they're not overwhelming, and the run is definitely "well-known" and "popular". Stop deleting the whole thing from this page with no explanation at all.
Hide / Show RepliesIt appears some people are under a misunderstanding.
In TV Tropes, There Is No Such Thing As Notability. If someone wants to make a page on their work, they are free to, as long as it does not violate The Content Policy And The 5 P Circuit and has at least 3 tropes in its list. Popularity plays no part.
Therefore, there is no arbitrary distinction on what is good enough to be added to the page.

If I want to make a page for a nuzlocke run (not my own) and I have more than enough tropes to make a page for it, do I have to put it in this page or can I make a new one?
Also, how come the page is still titled "nuzlocke comics" and the link to other fan works is only the page for comics, even though the page says you are allowed to post screenshot and written runs?
