I think the fact that we're running an openly hacked game makes stating that a Truant-less Slaking is cheating is redundant.

If Truant-less Slaking is cheating, then Truant-having Machop is also cheating and this whole page doesn't deserve to exist.

It's a nonsensical complaint.

It's cheating because we are saying he is the strongest of our mon.

We are comparing a hacked team with legal teams.

Stat-wise he is indeed stronger than all our mon, with or without Truant. So the statement is indeed true.

Truant is a power limiter.

But we were referring to his stats on this page. Stat-wise he is the strongest. He's also not the only of our hacked mons. Steelix evolved via hacks. Should we cut mentions of Steelix's durability because he didn't evolve legally?

Every one of the mons is hacked. It's a hacked game. And it sounds like you don't really know what YMMV is for.

Crystal hack don't affect the legality of the said Pokémon, was just removing a lock that prevent we ever using a Onix.

It's isn't like Steelix had a hacked moveset, or a hacked ability that could be considerated cheating against legal teams.

My argument here is Legality vs Hackmons. We can't transfer Alice Team to the Pokébank, for example, because it's a illegal Team.

Also, the factor of Opportunity. Other protagonists didn't had all Pokémon avaliable for them, they were bound to Route Rules, the legality of each Pokémon could be found on each route, something that don't happens in Fire Red, which we have all Pokémon avaliable for us.

I just think comparing Fire Red team with other runs teams is unfair. Fire Red should have it's own ranking because it's a randomizer, not a legal gameplay.

Yes, it is. That why shouldn't not be put against all other legal teams in comparation.

THIS is what I am trying to say, and this is YMMV. If you think is our best team, go head, but some others, like me, don't think should be considerated as such because came from a hack.

I understand what you're saying but that's assuming this would be a character page for say the main franchise Pokémon as opposed to a specific social experiment / fanwork / emulated Twitch Plays Pokemon which considering all the other rules and lore the community has invented its really its own alternate universe.

Such that when we played crystal, trainer red at the end had zapdos etc instead of pikachu and co. Does that make that win illegitimate? If the streamer were to put in a future TPP (say Black 2 and White 2) a world tournament with guests player characters from previous installments, we would expect the fire red hack team to be on the same stage with the legal emerald team with all their abilities and attacks retained.

It's already confirmed that HGSS will be a randomized hack too. is that team already invalid? can that hack team be compared to this hack team or not because they use different programs to randomize them?

The integrity of not comparing hacks to legal mons doesnt hold up in the world that TPP creates. Though if this were any other pokemon series I'd agree with you.

Actually, you don't understand what YMMV is for. YMMV is for specific YMMV items. I just looked through your history and you have a tendency to add things to the YMMV that aren't YMMV items.

Also no where in either of the tropes was the word 'best' used because its subjective. Fact wise, the team is balanced because we minimized overleveled and underleveled mons.

Slaking is the strongest because it has the best numerical stats. Slaking is still stronger than Zapdos whether it has Truant or not. Whether its better than Zapdos is subjective based on the situation, moveset, level, how cool you think the design looks etc. But whether its statistically stronger in terms of base stat totals always holds true.

Do like acrobox, a good user, and try to solve the problem without resorting to looking at other peoply history and trying to pinpoint mistakes who aren't there.
