The story that Liberty's Crusade covers is the original game's Terran campaign, as Raynor and the Magistrate ally with Mengsk, meet Kerrigan and Duke, and the Sons of Korhal topple the Confederacy. The story concerning Michael is virtually non-existent, he just tags along with the other four talking to them as they take part directly in the overarcing story.
This does not sound like an example of First-Person Peripheral Narrator. Please either discard this example, or rewrite it to use the current name and make it clear how the trope applies.
- The Ishmael: The memories Zamara gives him are from the right-hands of Khas and Adun as their tales unfold. She eventually explains that she off course has the first-hand memories of both of them, but she feels there is more to be gained by seeing them undergo their trials than experiencing them first-hand.
It's an in-universe case. Zamara could allow Jake to see the deeds that Khas and Adun do from their direct point of view, but instead shows him the events from the perspective of a bystander.
