Hi all. I've taken a scan through the 'new timeline' entries for the SC VI characters who've returned from previous games, and quite honestly, there aren't a huge volume of tropes that warrant this level of duplication. My view is that any 'new timeline' tropes could simply be added to the existing character entries, with clarification: "In the new timeline, Sophitia decides to.....etc". We'd keep the Soul Calibur VI new and guest characters here of course. Let me know what you think. Lex

Would anyone be alright for restructuring this? I feel like having separate pages for newcomers, returning characters, and DLC seems a little... I don't know, unneeded? Mainly because there's only three on the newcomers page that'll remain static and the DLC page mixes everything together awkwardly for simplicity. I looked at how BlazBlue did it for Calamity Trigger, and they do it 1, 2, 3 style. Maybe we can do that here?

My suggestion:

• Page 1 (Mitsurugi, Seong Mi-na, Taki, Maxi, Voldo, Sophitia, Siegfried)
• Page 2 (Ivy, Kilik, Xianghua, Yoshimitsu, Nightmare, Astaroth, Inferno, Cervantes)
• Page 3 (Raphael, Talim, Tira, Zasalamel, Amy, Groh, Azwel, Geralt, 2B)

And of course, when/if the heavily-rumored Season 2 rolls around we can probably add a fourth page for that.

What do you guys think of this?

As it turns out, Libra of Soul is 100% in-canon and intertwines with the story of Soul Chronicle, thus relevant to the timeline. For that, I think it's now redundant for it to have its own page.

Would you guys be for moving the LoS pages to the Other Characters page and making the Libra page a redirect to it?

It kind of bothers me that the NT characters outside the newcomers don't have their pictures related to them, instead they're in the Original Timeline where it doesn't apply to them.

Would it be okay with others if I moved the NT pictures here and replaced the ones their with their most recent OT appearance?

This page is going to get overdosed with tropes very fast, and I feel like we're already heading there. I split the BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle page because of how overdosed it got and it needed that. I'm proposing to do that here. It would go like this:

New | Returning | DLC | Libra of Soul

New:

• Grøh
• Wizard
• Geralt
• + any new character introduced in the base game.

Returning:

• Mitsurugi
• Sophitia
• Nightmare
• Xianghua
• Kilik
• Ivy
• Zasalamel
• Siegfried
• Taki
• Yoshimitsu
• Maxi
• Talim
• Voldo
• Astaroth
• Seong Mi-na
• + any returning character in the base game.

DLC

• Tira
• + all characters added as DLC whether returning, guest or new.

Libra of Soul

• Player Character
• NP Cs
• Main characters — but only tropes regarding their appearance in this mode.

I was wanting to do that soon before it gets too much, but I also wanted to see what anyone else's thoughts on the matter were before I do it. As this would be a big change, it'd be best to get feedback first.

Since this is a Continuity Reboot of the series, I feel like it's appropriate to make this as a new starting point just as many other works with reboots and different timelines do. Feel free to discuss here if you have any suggestions or feedback.
