Is it okay if I seperate Heatmor and Durant's sections? I see no point in keeping them together. They aren't in the same family anyway. Same goes with Seviper/Zangoose.
I have a clue to the next game. Listen, Rayquayza and Giratina were both Ascended Extras, but both got their own games. Who's willing to bet that Kyruem will follow in their hypothetical footsteps(Pokemon Grey, anyone)?
When I mentioned Hydreigon possibly being "an inferior Garchomp or Haxorus", I meant Salamence, not Haxorus. Sorry. But if subjective tropes shouldn't just be in character pages, would they just go in the YMMV tab?
Edited by lightning37 Hide / Show RepliesYup, just make sure you use the name of the character in question in the example.
Removing this and posting it here.

I am tempted to go through the Pokemon Families pages and cut out a bunch of the metagame tropes. Aside from their subjectivity, it's only been seven months since Black and White came out in Japan. Character Tiers take years for people to come to an agreement, if at all. Also, the wiki isn't about making value judgements, which metagame tropes tend to be.
Keldeo is separated because of it being Event-only, just like Darkrai and Cresselia are separate. And, while Kyurem's relation is Word of Dante, Keldeo's EXISTANCE is that too.
Hide / Show RepliesI wouldn't be against merging both entries in the future, though; Zangoose/Seviper and Kuitaran/Aianto share a single one. I would keep out of merging Mewtwo and Mew, mostly due to their Divergent Character Evolution. And, in any case, events are pretty tied with movies, so we gotta see how Keldeo gets handled in the one coming this summer (mark my words, we will know about him next month).
Your words have been marked and discredited. Reshiram and Zekrom have stolen the spotlight that could have been Keldeo's.
Coro Coro is not out yet, remember that it has more that one page, and it has been STATED that a new Pokemon will be revealed the 15th.
Am I the only person who think we should wait until the English names are confirmed before we change the page? It's still possible that some of them change. Just saying.
Hide / Show RepliesAt this point, all of the English names are 99.99% confirmed. Any that actually aren't could easily be changed if they're revealed to be fake, so I say the page should go ahead and keep the names.
May I ask where these were confirmed? No criticism, I'd just like to see for myself.
All right, why is every Pokemon with a 4x weakness listed as having a Weaksauce Weakness? The definition for that is having a stupid weakness. I'm thinking of changing it to Kill It with Fire for Aianto and Chevargot, but is there a better umbrella trope for something that's especially super effective?
Hide / Show RepliesYeah, that makes more sense. I thought of it later after my opening comment, but it was late and I was really tired and... yeah, I'll work on editing that now. Oh, and thanks, by the way.

I have a real problem with people slamming Gurren Lagann on Excadrill. It's a drill pokemon and a mole. That doesn't really mean anything about Gurren Lagann. It's like saying because it has a drill on it's head, it must be a shout out to Final Fantasy VI.
Besides, I thought it was pretty much accepted that it was based on the Reconstructed Mole from Mother 3?
