Would Gotchard Daybreak quality as a Virtuous Character Copy of Oma Zi-O, since they're both future versions of the main character?

No, because Gotchard Daybreak is not a "Copy" of Oma Zi-O. The trope demands that the similarities be made on purpose, and the result being a recognizable homage/knockoff/etc. Having one or two traits in common isn't enough.
