Should we make character subpages? That way, we could probably provide images (and even more tropes) for common enemies and whatnot? I say that for organizational and informational purposes.

A cruel, sick joke is still a joke, and sometimes all you can do is laugh.

Is it okay if I re-add the commented out tropes?

Not unless they are changed to explain how and why they apply.

So it's okay as long as I provide an explanation?

Yes. Be sure that a person who has no clue of the work can understand.

For Expies, is it okay to add who the character is supposed to be based on. With Palutena we have Athena and while Hades is an obvious one, some of the other Gods aren't as obvious.

The reason I brought this up is because Dyntos is characterized as Zeus despite the fact he is...

1. The Smiting God (Hephaestus) 2. Zeus was just called Helpful God in the Japanese version 3. Calling him top God doesn't say much when Hephaestus was a top God who made the weapons for the others but was simply disrespected. Plus if he was top god, then Hades wouldn't have been able to break something so easily if it was made by Zeus.

Expy is frequently misused on the wiki. A trip to the work's wiki indicates that Dyntos is if anything an expy of Hephaistos (which is the proper spelling, btw. He's a Greek god, the "Hephaestus" spelling is a latinization) so yeah the Zeus Expy bit is wrong.

So far changed Dyntos and added that Pyrrhon is based on Phaeton (despite the Wikipedia pages of Kid Icarus saying Apollo/Helios just because he claims to be the sun god). http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phaethon

Of the characters in Greek mythology called Phaethon (/ˈfeɪ.əθən/; Ancient Greek: Φαέθων, Phaéthōn, pronounced [pʰa.étʰɔ͜ɔn]), the best known was the son of the Oceanid Clymene and the solar deity Apollo or Helios.[1][2] Alternative, less common genealogies make him a son of Clymenus by Merope,[3] of Helios and Rhode (thus a full brother of the Heliadae)[4] or of Helios and Prote.[5] He was a lesser deity, and was mortal.

In the prevailing account, Phaethon, challenged by his playmates, sought assurance from his mother that his father was the sun god. She gave him the requested assurance and told him to turn to his father for confirmation. He asked his father for some proof that would demonstrate his relationship with the sun. When the god promised to grant him whatever he wanted, he insisted on being allowed to drive the sun chariot for a day. Placed in charge of the chariot, he was unable to control the horses. The earth was in danger of being burnt up and, to prevent this disaster, Zeus killed him with a thunderbolt.[6]

Now take this story and apply it to the Aurum arc and suddenly it makes a lot of since especially if Pit's story is based on Perseus rather than Icarus or Cupid.

1. Pyrrhon is disrespected by his "playmates" (Palutena, Viridi and Hades) and do not take him seriously when he calls himself the sun god and say he's self proclaimed.

2. To prove his worth, he does something drastic to show he's as powerful as them. Take over the Aurum fleet in contrast to driving a chariot in the original myth.

3. When this backfires, who is the one who defeats him? Pit and who was he sent by? Palutena/Athena (and Athena is daughter of Zeus).

For Pit I added Icarus and Perseus. While Pit has no idea who Icarus is, the fact that his wings get burned at least twice is a call to the story Icarus. Perseus in comparison is about the hero who slayed Medusa with the help of the Goddess of Wisdom (and sometimes Hermes). The reason I added the mother figure was Perseus' whole reason for attempting to slay Medusa in the first place was to save his mother from the evil king and prevent her from getting taken away and married (in some stories). Palutena fits the role of the mother of Perseus (the motivation to save her) and the Goddess Athena (helping him get out in the first place).

I didn't add Cupid because its stretching that anybody who shoots an arrow automatically makes you cupid...even if there is one bow that shoots hearts. But mythology wise, Cupid doesn't fit Pit at all.

Some of these all-spoiler entries are hideous. Can't we just put "(Spoilers)" in their folder title and then unmark their profile?

Things like The Chaos Kin and the Aurum are rather annoying to read, you have to highlight everything.

Spoiler Policy and Hades

Alright, I understand the folder name being spoiler'd. But does everything inside the folder need to be spoilered, let alone how the guy freakin' looks? I ask this because chances are if someone's reading the section on Hades, they probably know he's in the game.

I just want some feedback on if we should brush it up before anyone does so. I don't think such a massive purge of spoiler tags would be allowed without some confirmation.

No, that is grossly careless. That much spoiler tagging is too much.

Alright, I went through and removed a lot of the spoiler tags. I think I may be a bit myopic though, so if I revealed anything that's actually a big damned spoiler, please correct it for me. Sorry if such a thing happened. (And thanks in advance.)

I think we should remove Dark Pit from Adorkable. He's different in a lot of ways from Pit.
