Sisters Noise 12:17:11 PM Sep 24th 2013 I think the author might have been trying (a bit too hard) to make him sound like "how a violent delinquent would sound like in English." It's at least a hit closer to how a rude person would sound than how official translations of One Piece has someone as foul mouthed as Luffy shout "Darn You!"
Most translations I saw of said speech didn't have nearly as much swearing. It honestly looks like Jotaro was in Dm C Devil May Cry. I know he's not posh but there's a limit to how far one can take liberties before it just looks...wrong.
Anyway, should I reword it to something more low-key like the Ignition-One translation?

I just looked at Jotaro's speech under the "Even Evil Has Standards" bit and in most translations I've read it wasn't nearly that vulgar at all. It really looks over the top with all the swearing and F-bombs. Where'd it come from?
