I really don't think Mark Beaks is the kind of villain who should be listed under "Hate Sink".

An important idea behind a Hate Sink is that it's not the main antagonist of the story. Does Beaks qualify for that?
I wouldn't even have said that, but... okay, he seems more like a supporting antagonist, with a charisma that makes him entertaining even if he doesn't seem to have any real redeeming qualities.
I agree, he doesn't really qualify for Hate Sink - while he is a terrible person, he wasn't obviously written to be hated by the audience; he might as well be seen as a charming and clever Con Artist. I think the only Hate Sink in this show so far, intentionally written to be absolutely unlikable, is Gladstone Gander.
Quick question - does anyone have a source on the thing about Magica being on the same threat level as Bill? While there was the mass removal of Fake Scot trope listing for Glomgold after Frank Angones confirmed he's legit scottish, there was an original pre-release interview that got everyone to think that he was back to being Boer that I guess most people who read it (myself included) mistook for meaning he was a faker this time around. For the Magica/Bill thing, I didn't see anything on Frank's or Dana's tumblrs when I looked, so I'm not sure what the source is on that?
