It's most likely a result of the restructuring that Doc Jamore did a while back. Personally, I think this needs more restructuring.
My proposal is to ditch this page altogether and make a page for the Z Fighters, putting the non-fighters on Dragon Ball: Major Supporting Cast.
Chiaotzu is not an important character. His relevance had ceased by the end of Dragonball. Tien however, has popped up again throughout Z, Gt, and Super. So no, he doesn't get to be on the same page as Tien.
Anybody else being put on the Major Supporting Cast page will break it and we will end up with a hundred characters with only a dozen tropes each getting their own pages again. I want to avoid that from happening.
Edited by DocJamoreThe organization is still too bizarre. "Main" implies higher importance than "supporting". I'm planning on making sandboxes to better sort out the characters.
How exactly is it confusing? They play a role in nearly every arc in the series. So yes they are more important than the rest of the supporting cast who Can't Catch Up.
But yes, show some sort of draft about what you are planning to do please.
Edited by DocJamoreI'm not implying Tien is less important than Chiaotzu, that we agree on. It's the fact that according to this, Chiaotzu is more important because he's listed as a "Main" character which implies more relevance than "Supporting," regardless of whether said supporting characters is a "major" supporting character or not.

Compounded by the fact the "Main Cast" listing comes first before the "Major Supporting Cast" indicating it's more important.
It's nonsensical.

I'm thinking about splitting the singular "Trunks" folder into "Future Trunks" and "Present Trunks," since they're pretty distinct characters. Thoughts?
EDIT: Went ahead with it, since I didn't get a response for several days.
Edited by Dirtyblue929Do Puar and Yamcha qualify as Heterosexual Life Partners?
Personally, I just think it's a bit weird to use this trope to describe the relationship between a human and a cat-like creature.
Well, I removed it for now, but if it's valid, I won't object to the entry being re-included.
Hide / Show RepliesI don't think so at all. Unless bestiality is an acceptable option in the Dragon Ball world to the point that a human and animal partnership must be broken down by sexual preference to differentiate from a normal couple even if it might explain the talking Petting-Zoo People.... Yeah, I don't think so!
Edited by VeritasViergePaur is a shape shifter though, so that should be acceptable.
Modified Ura-nage, Torture RackCouldn't help noticing that Gogeta's page is saying he's the strongest guy in the series But wasn't it stated that potara fusion gives more power boost than the regular fusion? In that case this title should be Vegeto's
Hide / Show RepliesDo Gohan, Trunks and Goten count as a Warrior Prince? They are the sons of royalty. Chi-Chi is a princess and I don't really need to mention Vegeta.....
Edited by VeritasVierge Hide / Show RepliesThey weren't raised as royalty and have no special status of their own. I don't think they count.
Groovy.Pulled:
- The White Prince: While he was spoiled rotten by the standards of Saiyan culture (and pissed off by exactly how much), he nevertheless was trained at a very early age how to handle himself on the battlefield.
The White Prince has been renamed and redefined as Sheltered Aristocrat. The way this entry is written, it's not clear if he fits the new definition. Please read it before readding.
"If you aren't him, then you apparently got your brain from the same discount retailer, so..." - FighteerCan we please come to agreement where Muten Roshi belongs? He's in the main and supporting cast pages!
Hide / Show RepliesNo he shouldn't. He should be in the Main Cast page. Just because he was Demoted to Extra for Z it doesn't change the fact that he was arguably the Tritagonist of Part 1. Vegeta, Gohan, and Trunks weren't in Part 1. Does that mean that they're not main characters? Pan wasn't in Part 1 or Z. Does that mean she wasn't a main character, Fan Discontinuity aside of course.
After watching an episode of Gintama and thinking it through, Yamcha's fate would definitely count as Deus Angst Machina. Its probably the worst thing that can happen to a main character in a shonen where Death Is Cheap and it all happened in the same arc!

Is it a bit weird that Chiaotzu is here, whereas Tien is listed as Supporting Cast despite the fact that, as far as I know, Tien was way more important in DB (and even moreso in DBZ when Chiaotzu does absolutely nothing)?
Like, I can't fathom how Chiaotzu wound up on this page.
