I agree. We can always add references in each season to where the 'bot's entry actually is.
Additionally do we want to do entries for the 5 seasons, two (I think?) PPV events, and handful of untelevised tournaments? It might make more sense to just have 'famous classic bots' as a single thing, covering the names that come up in discussion today.
I think a "best of 00's bots" page is a good idea, plus a separate link to international (I.e UK-based robots) link to their home series.
Edited by AomicBringing this up again over a year later, but we still really need to add a page for the classic series. As it stands, only a few classic 1.0-5.0 robots are being recognised here such as Nightmare, Complete Control and Warhead. Surely we need to recognise famous machines like Vlad the Impaler, Biohazard, Mechadon, Ziggo, Diesector, Hazard, Chinkilla, MechaVore etc etc. Yeah'd it'd be a SHITTON of work with all the weight categories across 5 series, but we really do have an obligation.
Edited by ArcaneAzmadi Always expect the worst and you can only be pleasantly surprised.Since it seems my hypothetical a few years ago is about to become reality, I think it may be a good idea to add an “appears in” tab under each competitor on each page to readers can read applicable tropes for that battlebot in other seasons/ shows, similar to how characters that appear across multiple works are organised in larger franchises like the MCU or DCEU. Something like:
Is it really a good idea to have tropes that apply to characters per season? If, for example, there's 8 seasons and a lot of long-running competitors, then there'll be eight pages with applicable tropes for one robot, which'll be a headache for readers. Why not have all of the tropes on the first season they appear in, i.e. Beta's tropes in Season 2, Warhead in Season 1, etc.
