The Godot changes. Godot knowingly endangered Maya and Pearl. He knew their lives were in danger and he did nothing to prevent it. The previous posts stand.
<DIE THE DEATH> <SENTENCE TO DEATH> <GREAT EQUALIZER IS THE DEATH> Hide / Show RepliesI'm not about to really pore through the translation changes, but I will note that Dub Personality Change is a thing. If something does not apply in the Japanese version but applies to the English version, it can still be noted with that caveat.
Yeah but even with that, I don't think Godot's plan can be denied or changed substantially. I haven't read the Reddit thread yet but I think I've talked with the person who made it and felt that they were splitting hairs based on slight changes in wording that don't change the fundamentals of what Godot was doing, which undeniably put Maya and Pearl in danger unnecessarily
<DIE THE DEATH> <SENTENCE TO DEATH> <GREAT EQUALIZER IS THE DEATH>Ok so I had edited a few things as there were many inconsistencies but the biggest one is the assumption that Diego died. While the game shows him next to Mia and Misty by the end, it was just a sketch drawing of them. But it in no way implies that he died. In fact all we know is that he’s been arrested and most likely sentenced to life in prison for the murder. There is no confirmation to whether he died at all. So it’s best to leave this out because there’s no factual evidence to support this claim. Most credible sources say he was arrest and is in prison. That’s it. No sign or hint of him being dead. Also it’s unlikely she would reunite with him in the afterlife even if he did die. Because while she did understand his reasons for his insane and stupid fantasy to make up for his loss of her, she never forgave him. And highly unlikely she would after he murdered her mother. His actions hurt the family more than did any good. And it was all because of his selfish desire for revenge.
I think Nahyuta’s folder needs a bit of work. A lot of the entries imply that his attitude in court is just an act he’s putting up to protect his family, which is why players have been confused he doesn’t behave differently when not in Khura’in.
In the game, it’s mentioned a few times that Nahyuta has fallen into despair and lost “the will of the dragon”. He abandoned all hope of change once Ga’ran started blackmailing him five years ago, and he thinks it’s just his lot in life to lie down and submit to her. His defeatist attitude and hostility toward defense attorneys are his ways of externalizing his inner turmoil.
I’m going to work on some of the entries so they they emphasize the idea that he’s lost all hope, rather than implying he’s just “masking” how he really feels.
