Removed the entry about how Japanese Mew says that clones are inferior and shouldn't exist. I'm pretty sure that (originally) was just someone pulling something out of their ass to make the original Japanese dub look better, and then it spread out of control.
A number of entries need to be moved elsewhere as this trope concerns changes in the same medium, not from one medium to another. I'd like to say they should be moved to Adaptational Modesty as the examples don't concern characters being given Modesty Shorts or skimpy outfits being made less skimpy.
