Even without explicit confirmation, given the Duel Blitz Gundam, it seems like a safe enough interpretation. I could wave off the somewhat gray color scheme, but the V-Fin going from yellow to gray is pretty convincing because it's such a random, specific change, and I don't think we have any other Gundams in CE with gray v-fins.

Is there any source or scene in the movie that states the Destiny Spec II is coloured after the Legend Gundam? I have not seen any sources that indicate that, nor is it stated in the novels either
