When those villains aren\\\'t there, the show is perfectly saccharine. Are you trying to shoehorn \\\"OMG too spooky!\\\" into something as harmless as MLP? It doesn\\\'t matter if you expect vile villains in it. What matters is that if the villain isn\\\'t there, then the show is very sweet. So yes, MLP is a saccharine show.
