The reason why Korra is EasilyForgiven is that Katara, Zuko, the White Lotus, Air Acolytes and the Gaang descendants are all feeling responsible for not being able to find locate Korra. In a way they share Asami\'s ItsAllMyFault feelings. Although in their case, they were all capable adults while Asami was just a child back then.
