I also hope that people don\'t interpret the Alternate Character Interpretations and Designated Hero/Villain to mean I didn\'t like the movie; I really did. Just because I felt some sympathy for Carl doesn\'t mean I don\'t realize he made serious mistakes. Again, the sympathy factor makes the lessons more poignant, at least for me.
