One I remember well from TV series \\\"Neighbours\\\" was Cheryl Stark, who not only switched actress overnight one day but also gained a new and less pleasant personality along with her different hair colour, a sub-trope that could perhaps be called a RedheadedCheryl. She magically switched back to her old actress one day (once again she just went to bed with red hair and got up with white - or maybe she dyed it at that point, I can\\\'t remember), only to be almost immediately hit by a vehicle and die under the incompetent hands of Dr Karl Kennedy.
Also in soaps, \\\"Coronation Street\\\" has had at least 3 versions of Nick(y) Tilsley/Platt from standard kid to pin-up pop hunk to the annoying arrogant bony-faced guy he is now.
\\\"Eastenders\\\" has had at least a few Janine Butchers as well as a RedheadedCheryl in the form of Sam(antha) Mitchell who became a bitch with a new hairstyle for a while before eventually returning as the previous actress and at least partially having her previous personality restored.
