* FandomBerserkButton: Saying that Kanji is definitely gay also is this to fans of the game. While the game does keep it vague if he is truly gay or not, Kanji\\\'s character arc is about how getting over societies expectations for gender norms, namely that liking \\\"cute\\\" things is not something he should be ashamed of. His arc doesn\\\'t focus on him being gay or not, and any statements about it are largely out of the game itself. Most of this stems from Kanji\\\'s Shadow and his flustered reaction to Naoto before learning she was a woman, neither of which are not used in game he was actually gay.

The previous example, and the edit reason for it\\\'s removal:

* On a similar note, claiming \\\"Kanji is Gay\\\". No, he\\\'s not, he\\\'s wrestling with concerns of being perceived as unmanly for having stereotypically feminine hobbies like cooking and sewing which causes him to overcompensate whenever he feels his masculinity is being questioned. His story in \\\'\\\'not\\\'\\\' about coming to terms with liking guys, it\\\'s about coming to terms with the fact that it\\\'s OK for him to have these hobbies without feeling insecure about himself.

* This is natter, as well as an issue with serious issues within the P4 fanbase. IIRC, Kanji\\\'s sexuality is never black-and-white stated, other than him saying the he couldn\\\'t accept being the \\\"type of guy\\\" who didn\\\'t like girls. That doesn\\\'t make him straight, or gay, or bi, nor rules any of them out.

Since the official stance on Kanji\\\'s sexuality is keeping it ambiguous, I\\\'m inclined to say this remains cut since it\\\'s not about a solidly objective misconception with the work. I could see some merit in the example if, instead of \\\'people claim this character with ambiguous sexuality is gay\\\', it\\\'s instead \\\'people make definitive statements, whether it\\\'s gay, straight, or otherwise, about this character\\\'s ambiguous sexuality\\\'
