Ah, then I hope it'd be okay if I did that for a few pages I'm reading? (It makes it easier to find specific examples.)

There's even a cleanup thread that you can post in.

Don't forget to add a commented-out warning on top of the page saying it has been alphabetized, the like of:

"The examples have been alphabetized. Please put any new example in its proper place in the folder rather than at the end."

This increases the chances for future editors to respect the alphabetization when adding new examples.

Makes sense! Thanks for all your help.

It also sometimes helps to put similar commented out notes to this effect. I use one a bit like this if I run across a page with the note StFan mentions that still has examples at the end that are out of order alphabetically:

"The examples in this folder have been alphabetised by title. If you're adding a new example here at the end, it should be last alphabetically; otherwise, please add it to the correct place in the list."

Even that doesn't always work (you can lead a horse to water and all that), but couple that with the note StFan mentions and you should stop the vast majority of editors from blindly adding new examples to the end of an alphabetised list.
