In fairness, it was commented out as a ZCE and the entry was expanded to not being a ZCE.
That said it's... you know... not an example. I don't like TFA per se but it's by absolutely no stretch of the imagine a "bad film."

It was removed for being ZCE so I re-wrote it to provide more context. If others don't think it's a valid example then that's fine I won't add it again if it's deleted.

I, for one, would say that even if I had disliked The Force Awakens personally, I wouldn't have considered it the kind of bad film that the trope is about. I say cut it.

Cut it. The trope is about ”bad films” in the sense of ”films no actor would normally take seriously”, not ”films some of the audience didn’t like”.
On The Force Awakens will1999 added the Took the Bad Film Seriously entry back to the page even after Anddrix deleted it with a citation to a forum thread discussing the reason why.
