It's fine to use the year to disambiguate, even for a redlink. The only problem there is that you can't apply a custom title to a redlink.

^ Doesn't that go against what we decided for Series/Class2016, sort of?
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.
I doubt this is the right place for this question but I'm not sure where to ask.
I am planning to create a redlink on the film summary page for a 2009 DTV (though it got a theatrical release in the U.S. in 2010) film called "Damage" starring "Stone Cold" Steve Austin. The only problem is I'm not sure what to name it since there is a 1982 film sharing the same name, yet to my knowledge that film does not have a work page on this site yet, though may in the future. So I'm not sure if I should call it "Film/Damage" or "Film/Damage (2009)" in case the other film gets a work page in the future.
