I think leaving out the cancer and car parts was fine. The entire quote doesn't need to be in the example to show the trope, and that's awful language.

Shortly after a controversial moment at the last AGDQ, I added this example of Overused Running Gag to Awesome Games Done Quick:
Troper uknownada removed it with the following reason: "Did the dick who told them that write that entry? He did a lot more than say they 'weren't being funny'."
Despite the fact he did say more than just that (that the people who were doing it were cancer and should jump in front of a moving car), I believe the example still holds since the joke was becoming overused. Would it be better to re-add the example or just leave it alone and avoid a potential edit war?
