An adaptation of Cat's Cradle?
Might be a very loose adaptation. Very loose.
Honestly the only thing I can remember clearly is how, at a certain point, it is warned that everyone should be careful at a certain time because all water on Earth freezes. Though it sounds like it melts so I don't think the Ice-9 thing is a part of it.
The end of it does take place in a lot of snow. I think it was Russia, but it could've been Canada.
Oh and I think "Love" may have been somewhere in the title.
I think this is It's All About Love.
Yes, yes, yes! That's it! Thank yous!
I watched pieces of this movie while I was doing other things, and it captured my attention. I'm not sure of it's genre, but I know it's post-apocalyptic.
The one major thing I remember from my watching is that at sometimes around midnight (or sometime late at night) all water in the world freezes.
Also I think it takes place in Russia and I know one of the pair (the movie focuses on these two lovers I think) the dude dies at the end of the movie.
I want to say the movie is from the late 90s or early 00s, but could have been made earlier. And like I said it was recently shown on the Escape TV channel. Though not recent recent. I mean recent as in the past few months.
