Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread

Yeah, that is complaining. It is one thing to question a character's motivation in-universe, but when a person responds to an explanation with an angry rant and OTT hyperbole (not to mention potshots at other properties) then they are just looking for a fight. I would delete that whole section with a note that Headscratchers are not for complaining and to reword it to be more neutral. I think a notifier for rudeness would be warranted too in that case.
Mods: Is there no chance of a notifier specifically for not using subpages like headscratchers, WMG, Fridge, etc for complaining?
Edited by CrypticMirrorI see no harm in deleting the question if it's just mindless complaining. That troper bears watching, though, based on their forum history.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'd delete it myself, but that page has gotten so large that it's slowing down my phone. Seriously, it took me twenty minutes to type in my answer.
I unreservedly apologise again for my poor forum history.
I think he meant Gentlecoldafterdusk's forum history.
Anyway, I got rid of it. I'm assuming we want the entire thing gone, and not just the troper's last reply. If not, I'll add it back.
The troper also added an entry to the Headscratchers.Mass Effect 2 page, and I'm not sure if there's an actual question in there.

Gentlecoldafterdusk asked a question in Headscratchers.Mass Effect 3 (By the way, that page is getting too big and needs to be split.) that basically amounted to "Why doesn't the hero just let everyone die?" I answered his question, but his retort gives me the impression he's just looking for an excuse to complain.
