Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Hmm, looking at the changes, it appears that the author pulled a Continuity Reboot, and deleted the trope list since it isn't applicable to the new incarnation of the work.
I'll defer to the mods on what to do in this situation.
Edited by DarkHunterWas the work not finished, and the author is revising it prior to publication, or is there an existing body of published material that the author is now contradicting with new material? In the former case, it's fine to reset the trope list. In the latter, it's not. However, if it's not published, it belongs in Darth Wiki, not Literature. If it's a serial work that was just erased from existence, then it gets a bit fuzzy.
Edited by Fighteer "It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"it's a story on Alternate History.com, someone with an account will have to check if it exists.
Keeper of The Celestial FlameI'm not familiar with that site; does its presence there make it a fic? Or is it one of these places where people can post their work but take it down or change it whenever they feel like it, making its publication status somewhat fuzzy?
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"AH.com is a forum, so it's near-impossible to delete the original version entirely.
I had a dog-themed avatar before it was cool.I suppose it all depends on whether you count "written on a public internet forum" as being "published".
This, I think.
Posting on a public access site does count as a form of publishing. Found that out when researching copyright law. [lots of fuzzy and annoying details]
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry PratchettEh. For our purposes, it really ought to go in Darth Wiki unless the author formally publishes it. People need to get their priorities straight: write first, trope second.

What's going on with For All the Marbles? It's not complete page blanking, but the whole trope list was removed by an editor (the author?)
