Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
"and those controversies should be at least said". Um. No? We're not a hot topic website reporting on the latest internet controversies. If a controversy becomes tropeable in a fashion that doesn't break the rules of Cautious Editing Judgement, then maybe, but it shouldn't get an essay on the main page.
That being said, it looks like you're talking about the YMMV page, which was cut and locked some time ago. We're probably better off without it, to be honest.
More to the point, the big issue is that a lot of people used that page to talk about Anita Sarkeesian rather than her videos. We don't want this, no way no how.
"For a successful technology, reality must take precedence over public relations, for Nature cannot be fooled." - Richard FeynmanIf there's a YMMV trope that fits the videos -thevideos- you can try to submit it to the Locked Pages thread. Considering how much of a mess that page was, though, the edit's not likely to happen.
Coming back to where you started is not the same as never leaving. -Terry Pratchett
We need to have some form of unbiased in the Feminist Frequency page. I know the whole "flame target" aspect was given. However, it's also known that her series has been very controversial, and those controversies should be at least said. There has been an effort to erase any form of criticism against her for years now, and some have been rather successful in their attempts. If you need to protect it in some way, then there can be other ways than to keep the page completely blocked and unable to be viewed by anyone.
