Protagonist-centrism seems to be the very idea of having a protagonist in the first place... A game either has no protagonist, just a cast of characters (or maybe not even that), or has a protagonist and naturally centres around him...

So, the prevalance of The Chosen One stories as opposed to Little Hero, Big War ones? Not sure it's tropable, as the above comment says fiction tends to be more interesting when the protagonist's actions are somehow vitally important.

Not everyone would necessarily agree with that statement, you know.

Still probably not tropeable though.

If you mean a specifically single-character level in a generally multi-character RPG or RTS game, there is a YKTTW called "Single-Character Level", currently awaiting more examples for a nice launch, here.

Sinus Pi, not quite.

It's kind of hard to explain, but strategies are usually centered around whole fractions rather than individual characters, so you might say that a whole fraction may be a protagonist of sorts, given that fractions are very much like characters. However a campaign may revolve around individual persons rather than whole fractions.
