Is there a trope for, well, let's temporarily call it "The Touching Forefingers of Romantic or Sexual Embarrassment": the person's talking (or trying to)—usually but not always to their object of desire—and their head is down, gaze averted, and their hands are up near their chest, with their forefingers together. Some they're tapping the tips together, or rubbing the tips in a circle, or making a steeple of them, or working them up and down, or back and forth, etc. Examples: (1) Naruto, trying to ask Sakura for a date; (2) Hinata, trying to talk to Naruto; more recently, (3) Muneakira in the beach episode of Samurai Girls, talking about having to marry Sen or Yukimura; (4) the girl ghost in Mahoromatic #5, trying to confess her feelings to the boy ghost—and also Rin in a later episode, when the new teacher is questioning her and Miyuri about Suguru; (5) Akane (in her Moe mode) just about any time she's trying to talk to Natsuru. I know I've seen countless (ok, only many many) other examples, but these will do for starters.
This seems to me to be something very Japanese...but I'm not sure.
