I'm not positive what's being asked. What to do with entries from users who left the site or just what to do with sketchy examples? Or just flagging that you think the page is weird?

Any generally questionable examples, or ones you think need to be reworded can be pulled to the page's discussion page.

If you want consensus on whether tropes apply, there's the Is this an Example? thread. These specific entries might be worth going to the Rule of Cautious Editing Judgement thread if you think they need to be rewritten (and they do).

^ I'm trying to figure out how to even start to approach this...The way this entire page raises one big yellow flag. I've skimmed it atleast twice, and the YMMV page once (although given that's an opinion-based page, not much I can do there). In all fairness, alot of the problematic stuff I saw from erforce seems to have been edited by multiple users a long time ago, but for sure I can say that the entries for the aforementioned trope are definitely a problem.

I would have to sit down and look over the entire page just to see if there was more than the Black-and-Gray Morality entries that seemed problematic, which is no problem...I will do that later to further back my point, but I wanted to shed some light on the problem first. I think perhaps the entire page may need to be called into question based on my second skimming of it if I spot more.

I wish I knew what to do here but you did VERY well in bringing this up. There is definitely some bad stuff going on here.

There is a lot of whataboutism that is leaking through the page. Another noticeable one is in the We Do the Impossible entry, which ends with the weirdly biased "But hey, guess who wins in the end?"

There's also the Two Decades Behind entry which is raising eyebrows acting like the KKK is behind the times, when they have always been a problem and were still active going into the 1990s.

Edit: Oh thanks AegisP, that looked REALLY bad.

^ I would definitely go into the edit history and cite exactly who wrote that line first…if it’s an active user, then that’s an even bigger problem.

Canuck, you REALLY may want to edit that "we're" to "WERE" instead.

I checked, and the Black-and-Grey Morality and We Do the Impossible have been there since the start (with minimal edits) since the page was created by erforce. The Two Decades Behind example was by Troper 10-13-2, who hasn't been editing since 2016.

I think we have a "Clean up for bigoted works" but do we have an "Works that atract bigoted edits and or dogwhistles"? I think we do have the second but google sucks here.

Yeah, looking over the page and its subpage, it is raising a lot of red flags. Maybe it should get its own cleanup?

^ Most certainly. As soon as I get back from work I’ll see what I can do in that regard.

^^^ There is the Pages Attracting Edits That Promote Bigotry Sandbox created by the Troping Works That Promote Bigotry thread, but I think that's for persistent issues, and a cleanup might work best.

^ Later today, I'll write something up and see if something can be done. I apologize for the delay on that.
