Thanks, but I'm not talking about when an unnamed character in an original work is given a name in an adaptation of said work.

I'm talking about when the same work is dubbed into multiple languages (i.e. a single movie), where a character is unnamed in the work's original language (i.e. Japanese), but has a name in a dubbed language (i.e. English).

That's part of why I gave the Sonic X and Yo Kai Watch examples, as the characters I mentioned were unnamed in the original Japanese versions of each series, but were given names in said series' English dubs.

Honestly, if it isn't already a trope, I'm considering launching it.

the reason that trope was mention is because dubs are considered adaptations by nature (because they change some part of the source material, even if theya re faithful to it, because of how language barriers work). Your proposal might work as a sub trope to that at least.
