There were a couple characters in Naruto like that. You can google Naruto giant shuriken & see if any of that rings a bell.

thing is I think the shurikin shape was part of the outfitiself and not a weapon that happens to be held at the back there, but thanks.
I think I recall seeing an anime character with a ninja-like outfit with a four pointed star shape on the back. I make this post to see if anyone recalled anything matching the description to confirm if A. it isn't an imaginary figment and B. if it exists try to study it for refenrce.
