I don't see it as being a problem. The Discussion pages are for discussion. Obviously we'd rather they use the forums but as long as there's no jerkassery going on in there it wouldn't seem like it matters that much.

The discussion page of It's About Time, that the MLP Recap pages are being used as a forum to discuss the episodes, rather than the page. It's not too out of hand, but most of the discussion pages are about the episode.
A quick check to the Doctor Who recaps reveals the same issue, to a smaller extent. What other popular, currently-airing shows are there to compare this with? Is this a problem with most Recap discussion pages?
