Your mama may have had eyes in the back of her head, but our admin team just can't see everything at once. It takes a village to make sure TVTropes is running the way it should, so when it comes to spotting tech snafus, dreaming up a better digital mousetrap, or just diagnosing plain old asshattery, the quicker you let us know something's up, the quicker we can address it. See a bug? Point to it and we'll squash it. Have idea for a new feature? Post in the Tech Wishlist.
NOTE: Do not post duplicate bug queries, please check existing queries to see if your issue has already been reported and then comment on it.
Cookie issue. Clearing your cookies should fix it (it worked for the two other people who reported it).
In Chrome you can locate and delete the night-vision and show-spoilers cookies specifically to keep everything else.
TroperWall / WikiMagic CleanupIt's happening to me too

- Toggled desktop view on mobile (iOS, Safari)
It happened to me too!
It's still happening! Only clearing my cookies stops it!

Edited by callmeamuffin Come play Character Uplift Game!On Safari, the Night Vision toggle (don't know if showing spoilers also does this) gets stuck in the manner described by OP if turned on from a regular page and the browser is closed while it's still on.
"My job here is done." "But you didn't do anything."It's because of a Java Script error where the cookie does not turn off when deactivated. You'll have to go to the settings and undo it manually, or clear your cookies until then.
How do you turn off cookies?! It will not let me for no freaking reason!!!!!
You have to go to your browser history.

Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project! We just pushed a hotfix live for this. There was an issue with the domain cookie being mismatched when fixing the autoplay setting for a new video player
I’m not stuck on desktop anymore.
Join the Five-Man Band cleanup project!^ Probably as itcdr just fixed it.
In my profile, when I try to turn any of the display options off and leave to a different page, it turns them all back on for some reason. Is there, like, a way to save them or is it just kinda borked?
Edit: Clearing cookies in my browser worked, so I guess just do that.
