Cookie issue. Clearing your cookies should fix it (it worked for the two other people who reported it).
In Chrome you can locate and delete the night-vision and show-spoilers cookies specifically to keep everything else.

On Safari, the Night Vision toggle (don't know if showing spoilers also does this) gets stuck in the manner described by OP if turned on from a regular page and the browser is closed while it's still on.

It's because of a Java Script error where the cookie does not turn off when deactivated. You'll have to go to the settings and undo it manually, or clear your cookies until then.
How do you turn off cookies?! It will not let me for no freaking reason!!!!!

In my profile, when I try to turn any of the display options off and leave to a different page, it turns them all back on for some reason. Is there, like, a way to save them or is it just kinda borked?
Edit: Clearing cookies in my browser worked, so I guess just do that.
