This has been extensively discussed, which is why the item is now Just for Fun, but the current consensus seems to be that they're okay if kept consistent across the franchise.

Edited by mightymewtron I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I've heard that it's discouraged, but not disallowed outright - the mods are on record saying that they don't like it, but the ones grandfathered in by Fast Eddie (like the Bond ones) are okay to stay. Old SPOON vs. FORK dichotomy and all that.

O.K., I'm adding them a Running Gag to Sonic pages. Like the Final Fantasy "whatever something-popular"

I still think they're wholly redundant with Laconics and would prefer them gone.

If a tree falls in the forest and nobody remembers it, who else will you have ice cream with?

^^ I'm against that for the same reasons Karxrida stated. They're just Word Cruft and should have been removed after The One With was cut/moved.

Your receipt. You can keep the freakin' change.

Personally, I don't get them being redundant with Laconics. It strikes too close to old-school tropers declaring everything natter. On top of that, The One With are closer to recaps than Laconics. Laconics are often pithy descriptions or "X Meets Y".

Edit: removed something extraneous, I looked up ATT and there were no previous judgements on The One With for Sonic.
