Sounds like "mutually toxic" would be an improvement.

This is misuse of Broken Base which has to acknowledge both sides, this one is just ones complaints.

Should it be cut or does anyone have any inclinations to fix it?

As I said in the OP post:

"In retrospect, the entry should probably be reworded to further explain what the audience is split on regarding these points (basically, whether or not Rudeus deserves "redemption" , whether the ending "rewards" people for crappy behavior, and whether or not it sends the wrong message about "redemption" in general)."

The problem isn't that the example "just uses complaints". It's that it doesn't explain WHY the audience is split.

For example, whether or not Rudeus's behavior is "crappy" is not debatable. That is a straight-up fact as it's what his entire character arc revolves around, with even in-universe acknowledgement. The question is whether or not he deserves such an arc, and whether or not said arc is done well.

It does acknowledge both sides. It just doesn't elaborate on them.

Bump. Not sure if this has been resolved or not.

You lose your temper in the PM exchange as well, Nubian. Is there some third party that you know agrees with your interpretation of the work that you feel you can ask to help refine the example context by working with Qubritz?

I admit to losing my temper as well, and apologize for that. I still want to note, however, that their hostilities were unprovoked.

As for a third party: I don't know of any, but I could take it to the Discussion page. Again, my main concern is that Qubritz agreed that I was right before they changed their mind after our "chat" and re-addied their version when things went south without any edit reason. Regardless of any personal grievances, their Edit Waring, combined with their attitude during our PMs still makes disinclined to interact with them again.
