Have a question about how the TVTropes wiki works? No one knows this community better than the people in it, so ask away! Ask the Tropers is the page you come to when you have a question burning in your brain and the support pages didn't help.
It's not for everything, though. For a list of all the resources for your questions, click here. You can also go to this Directory thread
for ongoing cleanup projects.
Some of those are several paragraphs long (on widescreen) and quite rambly, as seen with the Aquaman page. I'd say no.
Edited by Piterpicher Currently mostly inactive. An incremental game I tested: https://galaxy.click/play/176 (Gods Of Incremental)Yeah, those are way too wordy.
These paragraphs are also often severe cases of run-on sentences. I've sent a grammar notifier to this editor.
I would like to add that some of their edits come off as gushy and/or "justifying" and revolve around how strong or cool a character is. For instance, they wrote that Vulco does not show his true strength and fight the others because it "would have ended the film too quickly", I removed that part and they've just added it back.
Edited by AsherinkaDid you tell them that this constitutes edit warring?
No. I wrote them before creating this thread, then I wrote them about this thread, they did not reply in both cases. I'm unsure if writing them once more will change anything, besides they altered the wording slightly. It was "so as to not have him end the film abruptly" before.
Upd Ok, I wrote them again.

The troper AnthonyWilliam is making excessively long edits. Some examples: Bucky, Thanos, Thor, Aquaman characters, Aquaman. I shortened some of them, then wrote them in PM, linked them this article: How to Write an Example and cited the part about brevity, but got no response, and they continue to add new Walls Of Text.
Are these edits acceptable? I summoned them here as well.
