Huh. Do we not have a trope to use in its stead?

"That's right mortal. By channeling my divine rage into power, I have forged a new instrument in which to destroy you."

^ We're supposed to use Good Victims, Bad Victims for fiction.

I do some cleanup and then I enjoy shows you probably think are cringe.

I support your re-adding the note.

I also support re-adding it, since Useful Notes being mistaken for tropes isn't a problem exclusive to that page. I've had to remove cases of Useful Notes being (mis)used as tropes from other pages.

Patiently awaiting the release of Paper Luigi and the Marvelous Compass.

Bumping because of another issue with the same fic and same troper. A while back I added this entry to YMMV:

  • Angst Aversion: While the fic is intended to be cathartic, many people aren't comfortable reading children's cartoon characters recall their very realistic experiences with abuse and rape. The fic has gotten several comments from people turned off by the premise alone.

My Dearest Dahlia changed "people" to "at least one person." Maybe I did overestimate the amount of negative comments on the fic (you can glance at the fics with comments to see if it's multiple people or just one or two people — a lot of these are anonymous comments so it's hard to tell) but if it is just one person, should the entry be removed or is it still worth keeping?

(I can't ask them about this privately because they said they aren't comfortable with PM last time I sent them a question.)

Well, if they aren't comfortable with PM:s they need to show up here. Has anyone summoned them? (Actually, if we can't PM them then how are we supposed to summon them?)

EDIT: If it's just one person, then it needs to be deleted, with an edit reason explaining that just one person isn't enough.

Eh, I deleted it. Only a couple comments came up really disliking the premise. Most are supportive.

I don't think they need to be called in right now. I was the one who shoehorned in the reaction based on a Vocal Minority. Apologies.

There is an "ignored comment" message in the notifier list, I believe. This editor need to be sent one at the very least.
