openThis weird thing I made Web Original
The email is @Pik The Red Pik, oh, and he made silly memes on his community tab.
openGame Grumps video/episode Web Original
Does anyone know which video/episode Danny talked in a nasally, geeky voice and then claimed that's how he talked when he wasn't working?
openVegetable hospital (solved) Web Original
An animated horror short, possibly a music video, on You Tube. About a hospital in which the patients are turned into literal vegetables. I think the main story surrounded a child who discovered this process happening to his grandmother.
Edited by FuzzytheduckopenAnimated horse falling into a pool Web Original
There was this old flash animation from the early 2000s that I accessed from a code printed inside a box of Eggo Waffles (I think).
The video showed an anthropomorphic horse jumping off a high-dive board, making poses in mid-air while saying "sha-bam!", and then crashing into one of those tiny "bucket pools" from slapstick cartoons. The pool, predictably, is destroyed on impact.
This was part of a small series of flash animations that featured the horse and another animal that I don't remember.
Also on that site was the flash game "Qbz".
Edited by jrodismopenSome youtube video Web Original
So it was this music video, there was this character that looked like a super mario OC and she was dancing to this song in japanese and it ocassionally switched to her wearing some sexy cat outfit only for some elderitch eye to appear.
openGumball Featurette Web Original
I’ve been using my VPN provider to access some YouTube videos from Cartoon Network Asia and Australia that were formerly available in Canada. However, I'm having trouble finding a featurette for The Amazing World of Gumball that begins with Richard singing along with the theme music.
openLooney Tunes Flash Game? (Solved) Web Original
I remember growing up, I used to play Flash games on the official Looney Tunes website all the time, and I've seen YouTube videos documenting most of the ones I remember, but there's one that I haven't seen in the longest time, nor have I even heard anyone else mention, but I definitely remember it very vaguely. All I can really say about it is that in it, you played as Elmer Fudd and had to stop Daffy from trashing a house. I think you might have had to hit him with a broom or something. Daffy would pop out from different locations before doing his classic laugh (hoo-hoo! hoo-hoo-hoo!) before throwing things into the air (eggs were among them) and Elmer would have to catch them before they hit the ground, or they would break and he would become very angry. Does anyone else remember this game, or is it lost media at this point?
Edited by JankyKongopenVery early internet search engines / 'internet directory' sites? Web Original
Dear Tropers,
We all know Google of course. And Yahoo. Many of us know Infoseek and Excite. Can you please share with me the names (and possibly more info) of VERY early search engines or internet directory sites?
Do not limit yourself to the web (WWW) please. Gopher sites are welcome. And also 'sites' that could be used to search (or 'surf'/access) BBS (Bulletin Board Systems).
(To the TV Tropes moderators: I hope such a broad/general question like this is allowed.)
(EDIT: I replaced 'BB Ss' with BBS as the former was being interpretated as a 'link')
Edited by ththth10openSomething about a polish cartoon reviewer and an innuendo... Web Original
I remember watching a video in which a polish cartoon reviewer reacts to a scene from the polish dub of Chip 'n Dale: Rescue Rangers (one with Gadget and crossdressing in it). What was it called again (I think it was something like "You know, for kids!", but I'm not really sure about that)?
Edited by OmegaPC777openmermaid/siren short comic on tumblr Web Original
This was a short comic drawn by an artist on tumblr. I remember very little but I really want to find it again! It was a short story about a mermaid or siren of some kind from the perspective of a fisherman. The only thing I remember clearly was a panel in which the fisherman could see a smiling face in the guts of a freshly cut open fish.
Thanks in advance!
openSome amature video with Sega toys Web Original
I've been on this kick of rewatching old bad Youtube videos I watched back in the day, and there's this one video I recall but don't know the name of that used figures of Sonic, Amy, and NiGHTS. All I really remember from it was that it wasn't stop motion (I think the kid's hand was visibly holding the toys the entire time) and Sonic complimenting NiGHTS' ass for whatever reason.
Edited by CardboardLuigiopenHelp me find this Web Original
So i remember one episode of cartoon fight club had this compilation of horror clips, one of which was "the dining or there is nothing" there was also this scene with an anime girl getting cut up. I couldnt find the episode , i think jeff the killer was in it but im not sure. I mainly want to know what anime the girl getting cut up scene was from.
openStop motion battle video with G. I. Joes and transformers Web Original
I used to watch this video all the time as a kid; it had G.I. Joe attacking a army of other toys on a (IIRC) white table with the transformers on the other side of the toys but switching half through and the battle ends when a dude(maybe a kid) walks into the room and the toys stop moving and I guess go back to being regular toys. It has to be from at least before 2015 and has a non-zero chance of getting deleted or removed but I would really like to see it again.
openDoctor Who Fan-Made PSA Web Original
Has any YouTuber ever spoofed the "don't drink and drive" public safety announcements, and all the times the titular character of Doctor Who wrecked the TARDIS by regenerating inside it, by making a Gallifreyan "don't fly and regenerate" public safety announcement?

Edited by Miss_DesperadoopenKoala and Bear Edutainment Site? (RESOLVED) Web Original
I used to click around on this... European (?) edutainment site as a little little kid that seemed to be flash-based and whose mascots were a crudely-drawn/animated yellow koala — I think it had a hat, perhaps a beret — and a larger blue animal that resembled a bear.
A lot of the flash games were culturally-based; I believe there was a Hanukkah one? I don't remember much about what it had to offer in terms of learning, and I can't remember what the appeal was to me, either. The flash animation was weirdly trippy, though. It's a confusingly vivid, yet vague memory.
Edited by mabelsguidetolifeopenYouTube animation about a highschool guy and a ghost Web Original
This appeared in my recommendations once months ago. When I first saw the thumbnail, I thought this would be a Dude, That's My Ghost ripoff, paused it to read the comments first and turns out it's not what I think it is.
I got carried away by a lot of tabs of videos I have to watch before that so I closed it and made a mistake that I didn't save it on Liked Videos or Watch Later and now I forgot the title.
iirc one of the comments said this animation was originally in Russian and they were glad for it getting English dubbed, I might be wrong.
openText-based forum-hosted interactive fiction story about Greek Gods Web Original
So I vaguely remember reading a forum-based interactive fiction story about a group of young men and women who wake up in a prison. They can't remember who they are or how they got there, but they know their names. And their names are all from Greek mythology. And they all had some sort of power related to their name.
I know that, of the main cast in that story, there was a Thanatos who was a big, gentle and kind-hearted dude. An Atropos existed too. There was an Athena who was the protagonist of the story's sequel.
I cannot remember what this thing is, for the life of me, and it'll bother me to the rest of my days if I don't get its name so I can read it again.
When I was in high school, I took classes in Flash animation (back when Flash was strictly for Web Animation only), and among the material we studied was a little series of animation featuring talking fish - they were stylized to look like somewhat realistic fish, but with floppy mouths, a lot like the kind of stuff you'd find on old sites like JibJab. I remember one such episode was a musical one where the fish are on a plane, and one of the passengers falls in love with the stewardess who handed out bags of peanuts, the chorus from that song has never left my head: "Peanut lady, how do you do? Peanut lady, I think I'm in love with you." I have searched the internet high and low for these Flash fish, and can't find anything. Does anyone remember these?
