That PBS spot........ did he even appear in the actual show? Because if not, that's incredibly random!
No, I think it was just an ad spot. Besides, there are plenty of ads for stuff like this that don't feature the people in the ad in the actual special.

Yep. Maven, Chick and Todd have them. It might just be my computer being okay, but it doesn't seem to cause any slowness.
It doesn't cause slowdown for me either. I just find it obnoxiously intrusive—I watch Internet entertainment to get away from that kind of crap on TV. I'm just glad they only last a couple seconds and don't force me to click an "X" to close them.

Groovy.Sadly, a lot of streaming sites like that and Hulu are starting to edit in spots to make them look more like television networks.
For some reason I haven't been getting ads for a long time. I don't have adblock, banenrs show just fine. Mayeb it's just my location. Any other Finns or non-UK europeans get the same?
I havent gotten ads since they started to pop up in the middle of reviews actually
still have to dreg through the starting ads tho
Well at least you're letting them get their earnings.
I like how there are those times where you can kind of tell that some of the Critic is still in Doug somewhere trying to come out, his absolute revile of Garbage Pail Kids being one of them.

New Maven. Linkara makes a big cameo, and I always love him being a Manipulative Bastard.
edit: okay I'm a complete dumbass and forgot I posted it before, but it got buried so there.

He announces the Number 1 movie, and it cuts to 5 seconds of Doug with his face in his hands. You know it's going to be a long rant.
At least you guys can watch Hulu. I'm stationed in South Korea. How dare I as an American citizen, watch American programming overseas.
All night at the computer, cuz people ain't that great. I keep to myself so I won't be on The First 48You'd think that they'd make allowances to have it available on military bases.

Wiseau's always sounded like a horrible (though morbidly entertaining) person. I can't say I'm surprised by that.
Onto better things, Chick's review of Matilda makes me happy flail so much.
Oh God, the Chick is right... From another perspective she would be an utter badass! I mean she's so Olympic... amazing, but I obviously grew up hating her. I never saw Matilda until I was an early teen, but I was big on Roald Dahl's books, his works inspired me to continue reading when I was "too old" for the likes of Arthur and The Magic School Bus.
I get the feeling he isn't as saintly as I thought.
Wait, I'm half way through the review and the "Child liker" just had an evil laugh.... Is that Mara Wilson?
Oh god, I knew it!
Whoa.... She's really pretty.
Whoa.... Wait, we're getting her view?
.... The analysis just made her ten times hotter.
..... OH GOD, WHY IS THERE SLASH FICTION!? WHY WHY WHY!? MAKE IT STOP! MAKE IT STAHHHP!
Oh hai Nella.
REVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEENGE!
Dang how did they know I had a "Which one is hotter" thing going in my head?
The answer is both, someone start a catfight!
Nella too? EVEN BETTER!
The Blog The ArtOh man. This was awesome.
It makes me happy that Chick keeps bringing the Critic back, even though no one asked her to. I think she's trying really hard to soften the blow.

Maybe you'd be less disappointed if you stopped expecting things to be Carmen Sandiego movies. She probably knows fandom better than most people on the site (especially with Nella and Elisa around) so knows about all the post-TBF feels. It's indeed very sweet of her.

RE: Wiseau's comment on the Radu Review. It's an easy mistake to make, but that is in fact Radu, not Diamanda Hagan *ducks* *
RE: the Matilda review, it felt oddly stilted to me, for some reaosn. I might have to watch it again when I'm less tired.
Yeah, I think what happened was that someone at PBS saw his 50 Impressions video and asked him to do something similar to promote their special, with the clause that only their channel on You Tube (and I assume somewhere on their website) could post it online.
