ok, so since the crowd ended up being a bit thinner than I thought, I'm just gonna retcon the other two missions (ship boarding and titan fighting), and have there only be the assassination mission. I'll incorporate elements from the other two missions into the main one, but I don't think there are enough people and I feel kind of out of energy lately so it might be for everyone's best if I pack everything into a single plot line.
I suppose that's fair enough bro
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Tomorrow, I'll probably be discussing my characters becoming NP Cs with people and what to do with them. I apologize, but I think it is, after over half a decade, time to go.
Hey guys. I might as well crosspost Mina into WAOA since I am of bored and WAOA is of many funs>
- Name: Wilhelmina "Mina" Charlotte-Meyers
- Sex: Female
- Race: Asgardian
- Age: 19
- Appearance: Taken a year before the Avrynn War. Source: Cmdr. Alphonse Schmitt◊
- Gear:
- 1 x Misriah Armory MA5D ICWS Assault Rifle◊
- 1 x Wardenclyffe M905 Brain-Computer Interface Module
- 1 x Wardenclyffe Broadchurch-class Artificial Intelligence in a M230 Shoulder-Mounted Computer
- 1 x Asgardian Knight armoured greatcoat
- Powers:
- Miracle Worker
- Asgardian Knights are expected to be entirely self-sufficient when deployed on operations, and are thus able to maintain their weapons and equipment while in the field. Some individuals, due to exceptional circumstances or merely interest, are able to take this one step further. Through sheer ingenuity or mechanical genius, individuals possessing this skill are able to repair nearly anything with the most common items available on hand.
- Improbable Aiming Skills
- Asgardian Knights are trained from the moment they are enrolled in the program to be exceptional markswomen. Effective techniques, their own augmented reflexes and eyesight, not to mention experience, are all that gives them an almost supernatural ability to make the most impossible of shots.
- Miracle Worker
- Physical Abilities: Undergoing a physical and genetic augmentation process when she was fourteen years old, Mina is much stronger, faster, and durable than the average asgardian, and, indeed, much stronger than the average human. Her reflexes are measured in tens of milliseconds, and her endurance is unmatched by many.
- Skills: As an Asgardian Knight, Mina is trained not only to fight entire groups of people by herself, but be able to be an impartial judge and deliverer of law. A sort of cross between a Mountie and a commando. She is also an accomplished mechanic, able to repair nearly anything if given tools.
- Quick Traits: Kind, humble, and very sociable, though prone to depressive moods. Not violent unless provoked. Extremely dangerous if provoked. Former member of the famed Ribbon Squadron. Suffers psychological trauma from the Mosari Incident, where she was the sole survivor of an Avrynn Death Squadron. Forced to survive by herself for a month aboard a wrecked Asgardian heavy cruiser, she eventually managed to repair the starship to basic operational capacity — and proceeded to fight against an Avrynn task force alongside Ribbon Squadron.
Do we have been in nethervegas for nearly a third of a year now, and the plot is over.
Its that time agian, the time for world votes.... every one should know the drill by now.
I'm a bit tapped for ideas currently.
Although we might want to consider settings that'll be easier to create on-the-spot kinds of plots, rather than an overarching one, until we're all in gear again.

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)I had an idea for such a thing, but I don't think it would work here in WAOA, and I dont feel up for contributing one myself right now.
I do like the idea though.
should i dig into the shiny standards bag?
" I did the right thing, didn't I? It all worked out in the end." "In the end? Nothing ends, Adrian. Nothing ever ends."Guyyys, I know that nethervegas is nice and all.
but its been over a week >.>

Does it matter at all if the setting has plot so long as we at least move to a holding area while we decide what to do?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Considering this is WAOA.
No, no it does not.
If you give me long enough I might be able to whip something up, given nobody else seems to have stepped up to the plate.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Sure go-ahead.
Else I will ship every one off to terminus to witness the elder gods invading since unlike AU, I dont think it would mater in the slightest to the WAOA peeps.
Who may just grab popcorn then nope out when they get too close. >.>

Or just as likely kill said eldritch monsters with the power of their apathy
I'm going to need a lot of time to do this, actually, but I'm working on something you guys might like.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."Had enough time to think it over?
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Actually, yes, thank you very much.
Here's my proposal. It sounds like they've already been hired, but it's funnerer that way.
Naturally, wherever Kerberos the murderhobos go, everyone else tends to follow. And Kerberos has gotten a somewhat relaxing and comfy job, at least at first glance - from the Terran Colonization Authority, regarding one of their most prized extrasolar colonies - the small town of Hadfield, on the excessively Earth-like planet of Voluspa.
Sitting about 1.23 astronomical units from its parent star of Tau Ceti, Voluspa is Kerberos's destination. It won't pose too many challenges to most of Kerberos, with a lot of its pertinent specifications being very similar to Earth's - a largely nitrogen-rich atmosphere with enough oxygen for oxygen-breathing life to fluorish, 0.8G gravitational pull making people seem just a touch lighter than they would normally, 26 hour days, and a "year" consisting of 322 of those days. Voluspa is a garden world, with conditions perfect for life to pick up - and it certainly has, with a large amount of biodiversity everywhere from deserts to jungles to tundra.
In orbit, the Serenity will be tasked as an escort ship, guarding the space station Mir IV and any supply vessels dropping off and picking up various knick-knacks from Voluspa. But on the ground, you can do work while slacking off - the TCA is paying not just for the defense of Hadfield, but for scientific assistance and exploratory missions. New forms of life, large patches of resources, and even ancient ruins should they exist - find them, and you and your friends will be compensated quite handily when the time comes to leave. Hell, just help a few of the scientists recalibrate a particle accelerator, that'll be enough.
Of course, if you don't want to do work, or you don't want to bother with those dang nuts murderhobos, there's always the town of Hadfield to explore. Half scientific outpost, half rustic abode, Hadfield has all the amenities you'd expect of a town - bars, arcades, barcades, the works - as well as thriving industry, resource extraction operations, and an aerospace complex with rocket and plane launches. There's a lot to see and a lot to do even if you're not interested in trekking into the great, wide unknown. And even if you just want to sit around, crack a beer, and have a chat, Hadfield is currently at the tail end of spring and beginning to cross over to summer in a temperate environment - warm days and a cool breeze makes for excellent weather to sit back and relax.
And beyond the town truly is the great, wide unknown. Voluspa's topology is well-known thanks to satellite cover, and airborne flyovers have uncovered its biomes and a fair amount of flora and fauna. But there's a reason Kerberos is here - there's a lot of things you'll only be able to find by floating down and poking it with a stick, and Hadfield is a quite small settlement even with its plans to expand outwards and upwards. It's anyone's guess as to what lies beyond the perimeter of the town... really, it's your guess... okay, might as well break kayfabe, it's largely up to you as to what's out there.
Ancient precursor hypertechnology? The crypt of a once-forgotten lich? A hidden society of elves living in harmony with nature? A secret military base? On Voluspa, it's your choice.
Try to avoid magical realms.

"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."if someone wants to enter my magical realm, it shall be their own fault when they got dog piled by giant robots. But you know I support this.
Try to avoid the naughty type of magical realm.
Happy?
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."What if my magical realm is invading other magical realms with gamer girl kitsoons?
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)Now that is just an immensely overcomplicated situation.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."sounds good to me, if no one objects by tomorow lets do it.
I love it :D
Okay, some one want to move us?
you're welcome to participate.
