@Faust: Yeah, at least now you know what to do and what not to do next time you GM. That's why it's easier to learn from your mistakes (not that I'm really in a position to complain, considering I've been away from the game for a while, but I think constructive criticism is always welcome).
I'd try to GM something, but I don't have a solid idea for a setting - besides my time is rather limited.
@Lemon: Hey, it's okay, I understand. Family takes precedence.

One Nation Under WiFiSPART.
Jack should be your new WAOAA charecter, think about it, she would be perfect.
A psychotic, kill-crazed murderous space magic user?
I'll consider it, but she does have a job at Grissom.

Hey, uh, a heads up, I'm leaving the site. It's sudden, I know, but real life needs a lot of my attention and you can find my official goodbye through the link on my page or on the Absent People thread. I want to finish this up but it ddoesnt look like anyone responded to my last post, and I don't feel good leaving that hanging, as I did sign up for this. Whadda ya say guys, want to finish this in style?
[forum cryptid: it/it's]I'll do whatever I can to help finish it.
And even though I haven't gotten to see you much, good luck with everything.
Lets do it
всегда веренOkay, Faust. Good luck with all your affairs
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)@Faust: Good luck out there, man.
Did you guys catch my last post? I was trying to continue the plot so I can wrap it up before I really leave and I'd feel bad if I left that hanging.
I wanna go out with a bang before I really go.
[forum cryptid: it/it's]I did catch it, yo. I've been doing school stuff, so posting was minimal. Might want to PM the people directly involved in your plot to see if they're arounds.
We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)hey faust if you're still here, gonna be honest I'm not feeling this final battle. I stuck around even though I felt things had gone overboard because for the most part I felt partly responsible since I was the player that helped kick the plot off with the research center investigation.
but as already discussed previously we've gone way over the deep end, plus I'm kind of bored of fighting.
Kiiiinda agreeing with bcom here, actually.
Make that third mang.
Sorry but I'm taking a break on battling for now.
wow, we actually agree on something Chuck. That is a surprise.
but in all seriousness I am glad to see I'm not the only one that was feeling that way

So, Kirb, I've noticed you're playing a fusion of Twilight Sparkle and Maya. I'd fully support you in this venture, were it not for one really striking problem I see.
Twilight sounds a lot like Maya. Like, a lot. So much so that she looks like "Maya, but with pony skin".
I'm not trying to make you feel like shit, I'm just pointing something out.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."I'm aware of it, though I felt I don't want her to end up like Twilight proper due to bad rep and all.
In regards if she's gonna join Kerberos Security, I won't do it now. Just gonna have her in WAOA for a few months, test out the waters.
How did the clothes in that image not clue you in that it was just a fusion of the two, Spart?

We Are Our Avatars Forever (Now on Discord by invitation, PM)And? At this stage it feels to me like you could just drop the whole Twilight premise, have Maya, and lose basically nothing.
Ah well. Carry on, I suppose.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."A few pointers would help actually.

Well, to be fair, not all of this is your fault. Twilight and Maya are close to the same character anyways.
Though, I can give at least one pointer; Twilight is one official diagnosis away from having OCD. Checklists and organization galore. I'm not too sure Maya is like that, but maybe have your Twilight be organized as fuck, and prone to getting a little bitchy if someone breaks her organization/plans for the day/what-have-you.
"Seven is here too, dressed like the concept of choosing clothes that look nice together was an arcane secret far beyond their grasp."My advice, Kirb, is don't play Twilight.
...Okay, to be a bit more serious, what precisely do you get from combining Twilight Sparkle and Maya that's different from playing them individually? As Spart pointed out, you've not really done anything different with the premise so far. Just name-swapped a few things in Maya's backstory and left the character essentially untouched. Really, if all you want is just the brand recognition of Borderlands and My Little Pony, that's one thing, but that's a joke that's already run itself fairly dry. You're gonna need to put a lot more work into this if you want actual mileage out of this...whatever it is.

Yeah, with the fighting thing...I admit that I'm kinda meh on that. Largely because of my schedule, and I didn't have time to actually get some good night's sleep. >.<
"This RP was a success in that it wasnt"
See? If nothing else, despite the time the plot took you're coming out of it with the right mindset. You haven't failed to make an engrossing plot, you've succeeded at learning how not to make one.
