Right now the characters are relaxing in a ski resort, and are preparing to go to the world of Monster Hunter sometime soon.

So, shall I just... Go and introduce them?

They're used to people disobeying the laws of physics.

And I am gonna have to get to sleep.

The police department of physics is composed of poorly trained slobs, the Supreme Court of Physics is corrupt, and the physics legislators are all Republicans self-absorbed nitwits.

Hm... How would a Viking Lawyer do? Or a duel-chainsword wielding clockwork knight do?

... That's pretty damn insane.

That could be fun, but I suggest you stick to tamer characters for a week of two.

Well, I'm playing Dungeons of Dredmor with no less than three lower skill trees modded in, so I could get ideas for powers from there, though the idea of viking lawyers came from viking sagas.

So has the group moved to MH-world?

Uh, no, not yet. Guess this is going to happen in a couple days or so, maybe?

Muh, okay. Guess I'll just have to wait, then. I can't change avatars while the Halloween contest is going on, but I don't want to introduce Steampunk Nitori until MH world.

Yeah, I sort of suspected people would compare Rikka to Igno. Their origins are actually quite different, but that's obviously something that can't be known IC yet.

And the best part, I hate the sexy armor too for other reasons. :D

He's a good guy, but he's a little bit arrogant and seldom passes up an opportunity to remind you of his High Rank-ness. Like Xene said, he's kinda the type willing to help you while telling you how much better than you he is.

And well, here's the thing.

Given the way Monster Hunter works, aka by semi-repetitious grinding and repeating missions in order to access better materials and be famed to take on the really big boys...I'm not really fully comfortable with GMing every single mission here. I mean, I don't mind doing it, but I had this thought a few days ago...

I can either try to GM all the missions for here as well as the setting and stuff. No issue for me, but school and comfort zone might hold things back occasionally.

Or

You guys can come up with some missions on your own that you might want to play out or GM. You know, in case I'm not here or there's something unusual you want to do that might not fit into general Monster Hunter adventure format. All I'd ask is you pass by anything to me via PM that's more complicated than, say, hunting down a high-level Leviathan.

There isn't really gonna be a vote here, more of a general reflection of opinions so I know how to approach this.

...A more minor question I have is whether you guys want this to be a straight-up right from the games Monster Hunter world, or if this arc could take place on Azure Lightning's home planet. It's really more of a flavor thing with aspects like lore difference and wildlife make up, but I thought it'd be potentially interesting.

Second should be the option any way, plots with just one GM tend to not go very well, look at all out best plots, they had 2 or 3 gms.
