It's still a fine series overall.
Eh... I wouldn't say "fine" it's not bad though. It's just kind of obvious that the studio tried going for something and didn't quite achieve it.
"No, the Singularity will not happen. Computation is hard." -Happy EntTired? Really? I mean, it must have been only around ten episodes if they felt that...
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Hmm, bump. I surely engage in a lot of threads recent few days.
Anyone heard any news on the development of the series' Visual Novel development?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Necro'd for news! There's a dub out now, in case anyone didn't already know. You can find on Netflix. And I am happy to report...
They didn't fuck up TK *Manly Tears*
EDIT: For being stupid. Oh well, still here to tell you it's up on Netflix. That's something.

I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialI really wonder how would TK sound like, does he speak in Japanese or something?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. So back when i first saw artwork from this show, I thought it was a Haruhi rip-off, but fans online vehemently defended it. I saw it on Netflix and started watching it, and then there was a very familiar baseball episode...
He speaks like a hippy who just spent a day sitting in a burning pile of cannabis. That and they even kept quite a few of his original Engrish lines. The ones that replaced them though, are twice as hilarious.
\*being crushed by a falling ceiling* "Give my love to Jesus man!" XD XD XD
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialWell shit, I got to watch that! What about everyone else's voice, are they done right? What about Otonashi's last line in the series?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.I can tell you for certain that AB's baseball episode and Haruhi's baseball episode are nowhere similar to each other. The variables are Key and Tanigawa. You could probably do that math yourself.
While I admit that I fanwanked about some odd similarities with AB and Haruhi, they're mostly either aesthetic or in the territory of the glory of Fridge Brilliance (or WMG).
Even if we can't, Tanigawa probably can.
Oooh, can you elaborate?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.@dRoy: Otonashi is great. Everyone is really, especially Hinata.
I've got new mythological machinery, and very handsome supernatural scenery. Goodfae: a mafia web serialOh, good to hear that.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Well, bump/necro.
For those of you who care, would it be all right to put Kill Em All in the main page? Everyone does get kind disappeared.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. No, that's not an example of the trope.
Every one already died before the series started...
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Oh. Well, I listed this series under examples of Anyone Can Die and should I remove it, then?
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel. This is sometimes how I feel about moe.
EDIT: What's up with UNCLE?

I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Oh, so that wasn't a translation mess up.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Necro. I'm doing this a lot more than I should...
You know, I would like to see this series remade into three (non-live-action) movies. I think the first six episodes would make a decent one. With two or three movie, exploring the entire setting and the rest of the characters should be possible.
I personally would like to know what's the deal with Noda and TK. Maybe it is better if the latter remains mysterious, however.
I'm a (socialist) professional writer serializing a WWII alternate history webnovel.Dividing Angel Beats into three parts makes sense.
After all, it was essentially a tri-arc anime (1-4,5-9,9/10-13).

Lazy and pathetic.I would want to see that promised Visual Novel first. Specially if the expand the story to what it was meant to be (originally it would be twice as big, I've heard).
I would like to know just how they make stuff. Apparently anyone can do it.
I guess having the main character able to directly handle any kind of magic isn't Key's style though.
Not just lack of episodes, they didn't exactly use the ones they had to their full potential either.
