Hey, for all intents and purposes, that's why I spoilered it. You either read it or you don't, and that's how you get the context.

I see that you added it, thanks.

For me, there was a fair amount of incidental leveling in the Item World (I became very fond of Stack Attacks with my Iron Knight at the base with his obscene Defense and Resistance, so he inevitably racked up XP from being the first hitter for the last few creatures on a level) but Cave of Ordeals 4 was how I went about leveling. Item World was all about the Specialists, Felonies, and leveling up Items (mainly about Specialists and Felonies, really).
Tink became really handy for speed-runs through Item Worlds due to his high Movement and his ability to walk through enemies.

@Cassie Quick question, can you understand Japanese?
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2Only a part of it, based on voice. It's impossible for me to read and understand more than 40%, but if spoken, I can somehow make it out
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...It's a similar case with me, except I only have problems with written Japanese if it's in Kanji.
Who here doesn't have problems with that?
As a first hand Chinese, I can tell you right off that the Japanese handled the characters needlessly hard. Putting two kinds of reading methods for one character is one thing. Putting three plus more than a single syllable in one, and across all characters is quite another. Not to mention the meanings became far different.
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...IF and Compa have been announced as DLC. Needless to say, a lot of people of pissed. Then again, a lot of people were asking for more cpu's when Mk2 came around. Do we have a trope for this?
Hyped for Hyperdimension Neptunia V 2But IF and Compa aren't CPUs.

To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Thank you for that.
I should said people wanted more goddesses. Curse the game's terminology. Compa and IF aren't those, they are regular humans but back when mk2 was out, a lot people were complaining about the lack of new goddesses, even though they got the sisters (4 new characters).
So why are people complaining about Compa and IF?
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."If anything, shouldn't people be complaining that they weren't there to begin with? They were around since the beginning, yes? I'd say they'd be grandfathered in.
Then again what do I know?

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.They probably just feel cheated that two of the supposed series regulars apparently ended up as dlc cameos for no visible reason in such a short span of time. I think it would kind of be like suddenly shoving Etna into the dlc roster in the theoretical Disgaea 5.
That's probably part of what they're raging over to begin with, I assume.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyBecause Compa and IF were available from the start of the previous two games?
Geez, so many ninjas.

You are welcome.
Shouldn't they be happy they're there in the first place? These people are starting to remind me of Sonic fans.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Their likely argument is that they should have been there in the first first place. It's not hard to imagine that not including them in the main game would at least be considered odd.
And Sonic Team barely even bothers with proper dlc, so that comparison's kinda invalid.

"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI'm sure infants would be a valuable asset to Neptune and friends.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."As someone who doesn't really follow the series at this time, I'm not entirely sure how I can effectively argue with that in a way that doesn't end up making me look like an ill-informed idiot.
The point was that it's not that hard to imagine that leaving out some naturally recurring characters out of the main game while hiding behind story purposes as the devs' excuse when they could have just as easily involved more time travel shenanigans to put them in, along with the fact that nearly everyone else made it in to the next installment just fine, would likely get certain fans miffed and think that some standard was going to be set. Besides, it doesn't even sound like the disapproval is being especially vocal as it is.
And wasn't there a pic with Toddler!Yellow Heart as well? For the same game she would debut in, no less?
"Tell them to shut up and have some faith in me." - dead flashback guyI remember seeing no such thing.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Yup.◊ (First example I could find.)
Hmm. Got me on that one.
To pity someone is to tell them "I feel bad about being better than you."Holy shet! Important spoiler about Neptune V everyone! Cover your eyes away from the spoiler bar if you don't want to hear it!
I now know who Kiseijo Rei represents. From the true ending route, she was once a Goddess thousands of years ago, and was the one and only goddess at this 1989 dimension. There was only one nation, and the name was Tari. She is Atari!!
What profit is it to a man, when he gains his money, but loses his internet? Anonymous 16:26 I believe...
You should mention which game it's about (and if appropriate, how late in the game). Spoilers without context have become a pet peeve of mine because they mean you don't know whether it's about something you haven't seen yet or not.
