Not really
- Four Fanged Offense for if your Lords levels added up to less than 50.
- There are two main story routes, Eliwood's Tale and Hector's Tale
- Lloyd is aggressive in Hector's Tale and will hunt you down
- Lloyd comes equipped with a Silver Sword in Eliwood's Tale as opposed to a Light Brand
And I just remembered another reason why you would want to level up Eliwood. There's a chapter later on (though he's probably hit level 20 long before then) where you can only bring 4 characters besides Eliwood. And Eliwood is going solo for most of the chapter.

So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonWell I'm doomed then because he continues to fall behind in levels while the other two lords rock all kinds of house.
Let him get the finishing blows and use your other units to weaken the enemies because I have a feeling they probably aren't matching Lyn and Hector.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonYes, that's how I leveled Florina. Of course that was easy because she has great movement. By the time Eliwood get to anyone they're already dead. It's also hard to, y'now, care because he has the personality of a wet pasteboard.
What're talking about? His personality is all about finding peaceful methods for solving problems with violent people.
I kinda feel like Erika is Eliwood's basic concept done better. He's all "We shouldn't/mustn't fight!" while she's more "I wish we didn't have to fight, but I will if I must".

I sure said that!Personally, I'd take Wallace over Geitz any day.
Also, I'm liking Awkward Zombie's Eliwood more than Canon Eliwood.

-Checks Erika on the FE wiki-
-Sees Pimped-Out Dress DLC costume-
JESUS CHRIST WHO THE HELL IS THAT.
One of the main Lords of Sacred Stones.
That's her Bride class costume.
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonI know who she is... Never played Sacred Stones myself but she does not look like the girl on the cover.
Her normal outfit looks like she does on the cover.
Brides~
...And she doesn't look that much different. She looks like...Eirika in a bride dress.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.Yes she does. She's just wearing something that she might actually wear in her regular life, instead of battle armour.
If I remember right, the DLC has her accidentally grabbing the promotion item and class-changing to Bride, and that's how it happened.
Also, it still beats what they did to poor Micaiah.
DLC aside, in the original game I prefer Micaiah's original outfit to either of her promotions'.
Only the sun has stopped.Anime characters are identified 70% by outfit, the remaining 30% by hair.
I blame Sariya for the Dark Mage outfit's skimpyness.
...I blame Micaiah for failing to pull it off like Sairya does, and the guest artist for sucking.
Also, since you see the portraits for FE characters most of the time, you will probably recognize their hair and facial features first out of anything. The Lords are slightly exempt, as you see their designs in their battle sprites. But generally, it's color palette, then portrait, then overall character design, at least for me.

Don't PM me. We don't like being PMed.New DLC for next week! It's the first chapter of the Future of Despair storyline! Also, this week's Spotpass (and likely the last Spotpass release) is Sacred Tome Naga.
Is it still stupid overpowered?
So. Let's all pause for a moment to smell what the Rock was, is, and forever will be... cooking.—Cave JohnsonLeila?
Only the sun has stopped.Sounds like it.
Why would you put all that effort into a facial portrait for nothing, is what I'm saying.
That said, why is Lyn continuously suffering from Cutscene Incompetence? It's kind of hilarious for her to get incapacitated by what I can only assume is the Standard Female Grab Area and then have her turn around and one-shot-critical the boss that did it.

How is having characters that aren't playable or bosses "nothing"? Every game has NPCs with unique portraits.
I understand your logic, but chose to ignore it.
After playing Eliwood's story, you unlock Hector mode, in which Hector is the main character. There's some added dialogue and chapters and it's harder in various ways.
Chapter 23 (or 24 in Hector mode) has two different versions depending on the combined levels of your Lords at that point.
If less than 50, fight a Swordmaster named Lloyd in a valley, re-recruit Wallace from Lyn's prologue. And fog of war in either mode, apparently. In Eliwood mode Lloyd stays still. Hector mode, he moves.
If greater than 50, fight a Hero named Linus (Lloyd's brother) inside a town, recruit a pre-promote Warrior named Geitz, who is my avatar at the moment. Nice sunny weather.
Whichever brother isn't fought in 23 shows up later.
